| Subject: What Is A Good CTR for Google Adwords Wed 26 Mar - 23:31 | |
| If you are not receiving a CTR (Click Through Rate) of at least 10% then reading this article and using some of the tips it contains should at least improve your Click Thru.(Unless you're already using them all
12% Is a Good CTR
* a good CTR is something that is built up over time.
* You Need to Fine Tune your Campaign to eek out 0.1% by 0.1%
If you're expecting to see an instantly Good CTR on the Very First Adword Campaign that you set up then you will be very dissapointed.
Of the Several Adword Campaings I have run here are a few tips that will help Improve the CTR on an Adword Campaign
Targeting Keywords
More focused targeted keywords will produce a better CTR, so for Example instead of targeting the Keword 'Widget'
..describe your product and service in more detail such as 'Red Plastic Widget'
Narrowing your keywords like this is one of the best ways to not only improve your click through but to make a sale when the browser clicks on to your add.
Obviously you will have targeted the Keyword 'Red Plastic Widget' to land on the page on your site that is titled Red Plastic Widget..
Hmmmm... That gives me an idea....
This site is called optimisation UK yea...
So Instead of a Google Adwords Campaign Lets show you a great way to SAVE Money...
Why Pay Google when you can Get FREE TRAFFIC to your site...
Ok Why Pay 4p a click on Google when all you have to do is Optimise. Optimise .. Optimise...
Remember the Red Plastic Widget Keyword from above, well go to Google here and type in;
Red Plastic Widget
Click the top Search result and see where you Get To.. If it takes you to widgetsupply.com then come back here in 4 Weeks when Google does a dance and try again.. |
