REVIEW: It was tough to choose between Beating Adwords and The Definitive Guide to Google Adwords for 1st place as they are both excellent resources (you could do well to own both manuals as they both give you a great adwords grounding). However in the end I decided that Beating Adwords is the better resource to own if you are only going to buy one guide.

The reason that I chose Beating Adwords as #1 was that it is more geared to helping Internet Marketers with no experience with Adwords to setting up a campaign from scratch and turning it into profit fast.

Purchasers are also regularly updated so that you'll always have the latest Google Adwords changes when they happen.

The best thing about Beating Adwords is the way that Kyle and Carson (authors) will help increase your CTR. Before reading this book I always thought having a CTR of 2% was good. However the authors will show you how to constantly improve your CTR so you could be getting as much as 20% - 30% CTR.

Another reason I found this guide refreshing is that they are honest in saying that you will need to put some work and effort in to achieve great results. It's not as simple as just waving a magic wand (as some guides would have you believe). However after learning all you can about Adwords (and how Google works) I guarantee that you will come out a better marketer because of it (and a richer one too!).

The book covers topics such as how to find the right products, choosing keywords, optimizing your ads, whether to create landing pages or not (the general consensus is yes as they convert better), right up to how to get more clicks and pay less than your competition.

All levels should get something out of it from the step by step instructions for beginners to the advanced techniques for the more experienced marketer.

Overall Beating Adwords is my number one pick for the best guide to choose for learning the Google Adwords ropes.
